Many thanks to all involved in the residents` meeting Mapping our Parish. What an inspiring introduction to the serious business of studying and recording species in our chosen areas!
I started my study this week and recorded 160 molehills (no mountains tho`)in my particular field. Can anyone beat that?? I am now going to find out as much as I can about moles as my present knowledge is based entirely on that recorded so entertainingly by Mr Grahame in `The Wind in the Willows`.
Looking forward to my next molefield walk.
