The Parish Council Footpath Warden, David Crockett, is to
lead a Parish walk on Saturday 18th October. Called “Autumn Gold”
(where he assures us the sunshine has been booked for that day!), the walk will
take in Lickey and Blackwell in its’ full Autumn glory.
The walk is expected to last between 3 and 4 hours,
dependent on the speed of the group. The terrain to be covered will be a
combination of road and tracks, some of which may be muddy and will include
short hilly sections. Walkers are advised to wear appropriate clothing and
footwear for the elements, and also ensure they bring their own refreshments.
All those interested are asked to meet David from 9.45am
onwards on Saturday October 18th at the junction of Twatling Road and Plymouth Road, with a view to departing at 10am.
